President's Welcome

Hello, and welcome to the Holy Bible Society.

The Holy Bible Society is a ministry that seeks the day when “the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea” (Isaiah 11:9).

That’s a goal too big for a single ministry to fulfill. But, in an age of digital media, using internet technology helps.

My deep wish for Holy Bible Society is for it to be used as God’s instrument for mass evangelism through internet technology and other modern media. There are billions of people who can be reached at once for the Gospel online, including the unreached and persecuted.

This vision is inspired by the effect of Johann Gutenberg who kindled the embers of missions. His invention of the printing press finally made it possible for the general public to read, interpret, and apply the Holy Scriptures for themselves…and the Good News of Jesus Christ spread widely and rapidly around the world.

Apostle Paul once said “how beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news” (Romans 10:15) to describe the precious and necessary role of an evangelist’s feet in proclaiming the Gospel. Thousands of years later, I hope the same could be said of the Holy Bible Society’s use of the internet to help Christians deliver the Good News of Jesus Christ in our digital age.
